Q: Where can I get my serial number?
A: Please select Trial License or Free License option in setup wizard. In this case you don't need any serial number for installation. Note that DAEMON Tools Lite is free for personal non-commercial use. In case if you have purchased DAEMON Tools license already, you can get your serial in your Disc-Soft.com account https://secure.disc-soft.com/account/serials

Q: I have purchased a new computer (or reinstalled operating system). How can I install my DAEMON Tools Lite on it?
A: Please follow these steps to activate your license on a new system:
— open your account page https://secure.disc-soft.com/account/serials
— click "Show details" to unfold information about active DAEMON Tools Pro instances.
— click "Revoke" (the link is on the right side of the instances list)
— after that you can activate your DAEMON Tools Lite instance again on a new system.

Q: How can I mount my disc and how to use this DAEMON Tools?

Q: Something wrong with my DAEMON Tools, it does not work anymore. How can I get support for my problem?
A: To get quick and appropriate help from tech support team you need to send message from this contact form https://secure.disc-soft.com/sendmsg/techsupport Please, specify correct version of DAEMON Tools and your Operating System version. Then describe the problem in maximum details, so we would be able to reproduce the problem and send you solution.

Q: I mounted the image with my game and nothing happens. What's wrong?
A: DAEMON Tools just provides virtual DVD drive which is the same as any other physical DVD drive for your Operating System. In case you mounted image and autoplay menu or autorun program did not appear, it can be related to the virtual disc content or to Autoplay settings in your Operating System.

Q: I have DAEMON Tools license which I received with my ASUS motherboard. Why I cannot install latest version of DAEMON Tools?
A: You received your DAEMON Tools license from ASUS company. It is promo-license and it can be activated only with DAEMON Tools version from the disc bundled with your ASUS motherboard.
Also note that this license can be activated only on the system where your ASUS board is installed.
In case you want to use latest DAEMON Tools versions, you need to prolong free upgrades period for your license with additional payment. In this case you will be able to install your license on another PC not only on PC with your ASUS board.

Q: Why you installed some unwanted software together with DAEMON Tools?
A: Such additional components are strongly optional and can be unchecked in setup wizard during installation. Open "Add/Remove Programs" (if you use Windows XP) or "Programs and Features" (if you use Windows Vista or 7) from Control Panel to uninstall software.

Q: My antivirus detected that your program infected my computer. Is your program a virus?
A: In case digital signature of DAEMON Tools setup file is valid, we guarantee you that our software does not contain any harmful code. All binary and executable files of installed DAEMON Tools are also signed with our official digital certificate.
Please, upgrade your virus database for antivirus and check the problem, it possibly was so-called "false-positive detection".

Q: Where is my license?
A: Please, login to your Disc-Soft.com account to get access to your license and download the program setup file https://secure.disc-soft.com/account/serials In case you have got “So far no purchases made” message in your account, it means that you purchased license for another e-mail address. In case you pretty sure that you purchased license for your e-mail address, please contact support team to solve the problem.

Q: How can I remove DAEMON Tools Toolbar?
A: To remove toolbar, open Programs and Features (Start → Control Panel → Programs → Programs and Features). From list of programs select the DAEMON Tools Toolbar and press on the "Uninstall/Change" button.
